The most ideal diet plan to lose weight is to follow the guidelines of the foods that should be eaten and avoided. There are several different types of foods to choose from and some have a higher value than others and some foods have no value. Many people worldwide are becoming aware of the importance food has on their well being and are striving to maintain their ideal weight. There are books and articles to help one obtain their ideal weight which you will improve life and health all round.

There is really no excuse for not eating correctly and you really do not have to take any extra vitamin supplements if you are eating a well balanced nutritional diet as most meats, fruits and vegetables have all the vitamins and minerals your body needs to maintain and sustain optimal health as well as your ideal weight.

There are four food diet plan groups which you can follow that is an ideal diet plan to lose weight and the serving amounts such as your red meat, poultry, fish and legumes that one should have at least three servings per day. This diet plan to lose weight consists of protein and foods that are high in protein are soya, peanut butter and eggs.

Then there are dairy products that contain calcium and protein and one should have at least four to five servings daily which include milk, cheese, and yoghurt and anything that contains milk. Cottage cheese had a high content of serotonin that increases serotonin levels. Next are fruit and vegetables which contain essential vitamins and trace elements and carbohydrates for energy and potassium and fiber.

This basic diet plan includes a high content of vitamin C and vitamin A and one should have five servings a day which include fruit juices that are fresh. It is much healthier to eat raw vegetables as cooked vegetables lose nutritional value. Whole grains contain Vitamin B and complex carbohydrates. Foods such as bread, cereal and rice as well as pasta are included in the diet plan.

Essential fats and oils are found in foods such as unsaturated oils, butter and cream and olive oil and others also contain a high calorie count and should be avoided. If you are looking for a basic diet plan to lose weight then follow these basic groups of food and remember to look up the calorie content. Contents of vitamin C and A, one should have 4 servings a day which include pure fruit juices. It is far health!
